The Warzone update implements nerfs on popular weapons.

Highlights
  • Call of Duty: Warzone has nerfed popular weapons in Season 4 Reloaded, and further updates are anticipated in Season 5.
  • Activision is committed to updating Warzone, with plans to continue support past the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
  • The patch notes from the July 2 update disclose fixes and nerfs for the Kastov 762, Kastov 545, Superi 46, FJX Horus, and Kar98k weapons.

The recent update for Call of Duty: Warzone has nerfed several weapons that dominated the meta in Season 4, including the widely-used Superi 46 submachine gun. This balance update comes just one week after the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded on June 26, with more updates anticipated in the upcoming weeks.

Activision is consistently enhancing Call of Duty: Warzone with new maps, weapons, and time-limited events, all available for free to players. Warzone will soon introduce 120-player lobbies, and in the latest season, Season 4 Reloaded, players witnessed the explosion of a perilous DNA bomb at the Popov Power Plant in Urzikstan. During the limited-time Mutation Resurgence modes of Season 4 Reloaded, players might find “Redacted” weapons while investigating the area. Nevertheless, players might have to modify their loadouts as various weapons have been nerfed to maintain a competitive balance with other weapons in the game.
