CoD Dataminers Claim to Have Discovered Evidence of a MW3, Deadpool & Wolverine Collaboration

Iconic Marvel characters might soon appear in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 lobbies, as suggested by data miners. Disney usually avoids depicting its characters in violent scenarios typical of CoD games. However, Deadpool and Wolverine, characters accustomed to such treatment, are rumored to be included, coinciding with their movie release later this month.

Deadpool & Wolverine, the first R-rated movie in the MCU, is set to premiere on July 26. Coincidentally, MW3’s fifth season is rumored to start that same week, on July 24. This timing, along with in-game footage, has sparked speculation about a potential collaboration.

Data miners, after dissecting last week’s Season Four Reloaded update, uncovered a finishing move reminiscent of the antics of the irreverent, fourth wall-breaking “Merc with a Mouth.”

The finisher involves a character tapping their target to make them turn around, then nonchalantly shooting them in the head, followed by a playful wave goodbye. This move is characteristic of Deadpool’s style, fitting for the mischievous X-Force member known for his trolling antics in the Marvel universe.

While this remains speculation, the coinciding dates are intriguing. It raises the question: if the collaboration is confirmed, will Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman lend their voices and likenesses to their characters, or will the game feature a more generic, comic book representation of the duo?

For now, Call of Duty players and Marvel enthusiasts are advised to stay alert. More information on whether this collaboration will materialize is expected in the upcoming days and weeks.
